Sue began planting windowboxes for friends and neighbors, earning a reputation for her stunning arrangements and ability to “WOW” a neighborhood. People would walk by and literally say, “WOW!”. Along her journey she realized there was an opportunity to combine services; irrigation, container production/installation, and year-round seasonal planting. With the help of her son, Bret, WOW Windowboxes was born at her kitchen table! Bret and Sue worked together to develop a business plan that offered full service, maintenance-free windowboxes and planters to residential and commercial properties. In 2009, Bret joined the company full-time to help Sue grow the business. Since then, Sue has retired her gardening gloves, while Bret continues to carry on her vision.
